Website measurement
This website uses first-party analytics to measure page visits and selected interactions. The browser sends events to /api/data on this website, which forwards them to our analytics service.
Page-view events contain the page path, an external referring hostname when present, a mobile/tablet/desktop category based on viewport width, and indicators for a first visit or first visit that day. Click events contain the page path and a label for the selected interaction.
The tracker does not include query strings, URL fragments, full referring URLs, or the visitor cookie identifier in those event payloads.
Cookie and local storage
On an eligible HTTPS domain, the tracker sets a first-party cookie named _ra_uid. It contains a random identifier and a last-seen date. Its expiry is set to one year when written, and it uses Secure and SameSite=Lax settings.
The browser exclusion setting is stored separately in local storage as _ra_ignore. It has no automatic expiry. Clearing this website’s browser data removes the setting.
Your analytics choice
Open a page with ?ra_ignore=1 to exclude the current browser from tracking on this website’s origin. The setting continues on later visits. Use ?ra_ignore=0 to re-enable measurement. Repeat the choice for each browser, device, or hostname you use; saving it requires local storage to be available.
The tracker skips non-HTTPS pages, localhost, 127.0.0.1, and Vercel preview domains. The cookie policy includes links for changing your browser’s analytics setting.
Messages, payments, and other websites
This website currently has no onsite contact form or online payment facility. If a phone or email link is available and you use it, your call or message is handled through the service you choose.
If you follow a link to another website or contact an external provider, information you share there is handled under that provider’s policies. Check those policies before supplying personal or payment information.
